Hello, I’m Jess.

Deacon Rd. is the culmination of my 15 years’ experience working in Operations and Communications, my passion for writing and creativity, and a desire to balance my day-to-day with being a mother and a musician, too.

I am a tertiary-qualified communicator with writing experience across a range of industries and styles; from poetic paragraphs to longer, more formal pieces of expository, descriptive and persuasive writing.

I get a kick out of crafting clear communications for clients who appreciate the power of intentional copy. Words without waffle. Sentences that stand out.

I also proudly collaborate with a network of digital and creative experts to deliver a wide range of projects for clients, whatever their vision may be.
